Urban Wick Candle Bar is the perfect place to celebrate! Creating a custom scent is a fun, one-of-a-kind and social experience at Urban Wick Candle Bar in Birmingham, Michigan. Whether you're looking for a creative date night, girl's night out, family bonding time, birthday celebration, bachelorette celebration or team-building event, we can make your experience unique and memorable. Come pour with us and create a scent and a candle that is uniquely YOU!
Walk-ins are welcome during our business hours and reservations are accepted. We encourage reservations for groups of five or more.
Our Candle Bar is available for walk-ins anytime! However, if your group is five to nine guests, we suggest you make a reservation. Your reservation reserves seats together at the bar, allows us to be properly staffed to serve your group, and affords us the opportunity to provide you with a great personal experience.
Groups of 10 or more
This is ideal for morning meetups, networking events, girls’ night out, bachelorette celebrations, birthday celebrations, and more.
- There is a minimum purchase requirement of $20 per guest. To be paid by organizer or each guest individually.
- With groups of 10 or more the host receives a complimentary 8 oz. candle valued at $25 or less.
Private Gathering Option
We can accommodate private gatherings (meetups, bible study groups, book clubs, preschool meet and greets, committee meetings, company morning huddle or team building exercises, networking business groups) for 10-20 guests on Tuesdays through Fridays 9am-11:30am. The entire Candle Bar is yours for 2 1/2 hours. Your group will start with the candle experience then hang out in our space and have your event while your candles set. You may bring in your own beverages and light refreshments i.e. water, coffee, bagels, pastries, donuts, fruit (for an additional fee we’d be happy to arrange this for you.)
What do you need to do?
- Give us a call to reserve your day.
- A non-refundable booking fee of $250 is required.
- To allow for the best experience, your entire group needs to be present to begin candle pouring. Guests are invited to browse our Scent Wall and begin writing down the scents they like while they wait for all members of their group to arrive.
- Minimum purchase requirement per guest is $20. To be paid by the organizer or by each individual guest.
If you need more time:
- We are happy to discuss your event needs so we can provide you and your guests with the best experience possible.
- We can accommodate private gatherings on Sundays after 3:30pm for up to 24 guests.
- A non-refundable fee of $300 is required upon booking.
- The space is all yours for 3 hours (additional time will be charged at a rate of $50 per ½ hour).
